New Christmas Toys

Ryan got a telescope from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas, so while we were visiting them, Grandpa and daddy helped Ryan test out the new 'scope. It was cold and cloudy, so the viewing was very short!

Santa brought the kiddos a new sled. There was no snow at Grandma's, but Ryan and Allie enjoyed rocking the sled and pretending to ride a big hill.

Jeff & I bought Ryan a tool set for Christmas. It seems to be the present he is most proud of! Everyday he has been asking his daddy if they could build something. Daddy is not really sure what they should build, so he has had Ryan hammer nails in on the deck, help fix (and accidently remove) a closet door and draw up plans for a project to build. Today, Ryan broke out the tool kit and used the saw from the kit to help daddy cut down a tree limb.

Mr. Snowman

Jeff has been home from half a day today and couldn't stand being inside. So, he and Allie loaded trash in the garage, swept out the garage and then threw snowballs. They took a break, came inside and got good gloves to continue their snowball fight and then Ryan joined them. They made a snowman and swang on the swings before coming in for Hot chocolate, pancakes and eggs.

Our Christmas Party

Ryan & Allie are enjoying dressing up when having pretend picnics. So last night they had a Christmas themed dress up party and I was a guest!

Even Buster Likes the new TV

As you can see, even Buster enjoys just hanging out watching the new TV!

Our new favorite hangout

Here the kids are in their new "Hangout" watching the old TV.

New TV

Here they are watching the new T.V.

Even with our big new TV the kids like to watch the old one. Twice today I found them in the extra room. I have promised the kids I would take out some of the junk from the room and turn it back into their TV room/playroom/hangout area over Christmas break.
